I love everything about Harris Tweed , the texture, the amazing range of colours and patterns, even the smell! I have been collecting it for over 11 years now and I couldn't count how many different colours and patterns I have now, there's so many of them. Last time I tried to count I had 63 different blue tweeds alone!
It is also the only fabric in the world to have it's own Act of Parliament, which states that by law all Harris Tweed must be made from 100% pure new British wool, hand woven by crofters on their crofts (small holdings) and processed on the Scottish islands of the Outer Hebrides.
