TD14 5DE This local wool festival that might be smaller in size than some of the big national events, but it is absolutely packed full of talented, high quality woolly businesses and artisans from Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Alnmouth Arts FestivalSat 16th & Sun 17th June 10 - 5
20 venues throughout Alnmouth If you've ever wondered like what it's like in some of the more interesting houses in the beautiful seaside village of Alnmouth in Northumberland, then here's your chance! There's a wide variety of art from over 70 local artists in more than 20 venues, some of them in private homes within the village. With just under 300 exhibitors spread across 2 huge rooms there's absolutely loads to see and buy. There's also always a great choice of street food and other refreshments. The Glendale ShowMonday 27th August 9am - 5pm
Glendale Showfield 2 miles south of Wooler on A697 Come and join us in The Countryside Marquee at the 126th Glendale Agricultural Show on Bank Holiday Monday 27th August. Gates open 9am. The Glendale Show brings the town and the countryside together with something for everyone including your dog. The Showfield is situated 2 miles south of Wooler on the A697. Car Parking is signposted from the A697 from both North and South.

Sheep Tales Wool FestivalSat 1st September 10 am - 4 pm
Hindmarsh Hall, Northumberland St, Alnmouth NE66 2RS This is a really lovely local event organised every year by Sheep Tales, an interesting and talented collective of woolly artisans, makers and artists from all over Northumberland. As well as stalls, there'll also be demonstrations from spinners, felters, knitters and, rag ruggers throughout the day. Along with delicious homemade refreshments from Alnmouth WI.
